Bill C-27, which contained the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA), died on the Order Paper when Parliament was prorogued in January 2025 and was not reinstated (confirmed via Parliament's LEGISinfo). No successor federal AI-specific bill has been identified as of this review; ISED's AIDA page is now archived.
